Student Startup Contest is a projects competition opened to graduating female students in Cameroonian universities / higher education schools, having a business idea in STEM or using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
It is organized by ITISS Edu and funded by Youth for Africa and SDGs (YAS!). YAS! is a program of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) implemented by Accenture. Partners of the Student Startup Contest include Brain-Booster, AIMS-MasterCard Foundation Mathematics Teachers Training Program (AIMS-TTP) Cameroon, the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaoundé and GetReady .
Selection
After an online application process, 22 candidates studying in Bamenda, Buea, Douala, Ngaoundere and Yaounde were selected to participate in the competition, alone or in teams.

– 1 000 000 CFA F to create her company;
– 6 months of access to the coworking space of Brain Booster;
– 1 multifunction printer with a set of ink cartridges;
– 1 external hard drive (1To);
– 1 one-year antivirus license.
